Sebanyak 844 orang calon mahasiswa baru di Universitas Cipasung Tasikmalaya disambut dalam kegiatan Masa Orientasi Mahasiswa Baru (MOMARU) Tahun Akademik 2023/2024 di universitas pertama di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya tersebut, Rabu 13 September 2023.
Mereka akan mengikuti seluruh rangkaian MOMARU selama 4 hari kedepan, terhitung sejak 13 hingga 16 September 2023. Pihak Universitas Cipasung (UNCIP) maupun Yayasan KH Acep Adang Ruhiat yang menaungi universitas menekankan, terkait pentingnya menjaga Akhlakul Karimah pada setiap mahasiswa baru yang hadir. Rektor Universitas Cipasung Tasikmalaya, Dr. Nanang Rusliana, SE, M.Si, menjelaskan, jika kegiatan MOMARU kali ini merupakan tahun ke 3 setelah pihaknya bereinkarnasi dari STIE Cipasung menjadi Universitas Cipasung. Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, pihaknya pun telah mengkonsep kegiatan sesempurna mungkin. “Kegiatan MOMARU tahun ini diikuti oleh 844 orang calon mahasiswa. Alhamdulilah dari tahun ke tahun jumlahnya terus meningkat. Ditahun pertama sebanyak 627 orang, ditahun kedua kemarin sebanyak 717 orang,” ujar Nanang, seusai acara pembukaan MOMARU di Universitas Cipasung Tasikmalaya.
